Making Your Own Professional Development Plan for Biomedical and Life Sciences Postdocs

Led by:
Lynn Talton, PhD, Director, Office of Postdoctoral Affairs for the Biomedical and Life Sciences, DGSOM

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all the options for professional development that appear in your inbox,
digests, and flyers? Or, are you somehow not hearing about these opportunities? I can help with that.

This workshop will help you develop a plan about which types of professional development training to prioritize and how to map out a professional development plan that takes into account your career goals, your current and future needs and the time you have left in your training. I'll also cover all the career resources available to you and where to find them.

Since the plan will be customized to your needs, this workshop is ideal for bioscience postdocs at any stage, early to late in your training. You may also repeat this workshop occasionally to update your plan and learn about the latest professional development resources available.
