About Us
The mission of the Office of Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars is to enhance and support the research training experience for postdocs, visiting scholars, and their faculty mentors.
The Office is supported by the David Geffen School of Medicine and serves faculty and postdocs in all departments related to research in the biomedical or life sciences disciplines.

Chancellor's Award for Postdoctoral Research
All postdoctoral faculty are able to submit nominations for the Chancellor’s Award for Postdoctoral Research. This award, established in 1998, will provide a prize of $4,000 each to especially accomplished UCLA postdoctoral scholars recognized for their outstanding research. All nomination materials must be submitted by early spring. Nominees will be notified around April and all will be honored at the postdoctoral scholars reception usually planned for May.
