Fellowship Writing Support
F32 Workgroup
- Get support writing an NIH Individual Fellowship application. We hold three groups per year:
- Starting in September to prepare for the December 8 deadline
- Starting in January to prepare for the April 8 deadline
- Starting in May to prepare for the August 8 deadline
Benefits:
- Guidance and advice from experienced faculty and prior F32 awardees
- Get a weekly plan with guidance, resources, and templates to develop the application and to help spread the work over 12 weeks
- The process is mostly asynchronous (self-directed), so work on your own schedule
- Two scheduled zoom meetings to get to know each other and share feedback and support
- Slack group for questions as they come up
- Faculty and peer support in editing your documents
- A timeline of assignments and tasks that keeps you accountable, helps you finish on time and with top quality documents
- A new peer network of supportive colleagues
Participant Responsibilities:

Weekly writing assignments and preparation tasks
- Two group zoom meetings:
- Week 1 – Introduction, start on Specific Aims
- Week 6 – Specific Aims Feedback with Faculty
- Providing reciprocal feedback on one document for a peer each week
- Joining co-working meetings on Zoom with other workgroup participants
